The whole idea for the Marine recon robot had me thinking of great fighting scenes and such like. But the film over all disappointed me. They could have done so much with this film, it had allot of potential. Most films about mars do tend to be boring and repeating in their plots and story, but I just had a feeling that this one was going to be different. The ending with the Aliens asking the Human visitor to jump on an ship and come visit them, (which he did), could really of been like the middle of the film, and then from their the film could of took of with regards to the guy going to the Aliens new -planet and system and learning all about them. That whole idea about the Alien race seeding earth and creating Humanity was a good idea and could of been so much more. But they failed, mores to the pity. Anyone else see this film? What did you think of it? Regards:: Hyperion

It brought absolutely nothing original to the table except the swirling vortex of living sand death incarnate. That part was cool. Other than that, I've either seen or heard everything else before. The actors were sub-par as was the story and dialogue. Beyond that, reaming this movie isn't worth the time.
