This from http://www.scifi.com/scifiwire These Terminators Are Real Stan Winston—the visual-effects guru who is creating cyborgs for the upcoming sequel film Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines—told SCI FI Wire that he’s designing a precursor robot and an advanced one. “Terminator 3, we're shooting,” Winston said in an interview last week at Comic-Con International in San Diego. “I just got off the set at midnight last night. [We were] shooting a scene with the T1's, which are robots that are precursors to the Arnold [Schwarzenegger T-800] robot. We've also created a female called the TX, the Terminatrix, who is about as bad as you can get. You don't want to come up against her.” Winston declined to detail the abilities of the newest terminator, except to say, “I can tell you that you just don't want to come up against her. She will kick your butt. And we had a great time designing her and creating her. And the fact of the matter is there is nothing like the wrath of a female, even if it's a robot. So this is the one. She is bad. She is real bad.” As for technology, Winston said there’s a vast difference between the upcoming sequel and the previous two Terminator films. “Terminator 1, with the use of puppetry and stop-motion animation, we pretended that we had created a robot,” Winston said. “Over the years we have been advancing our robotic and animatronic technology. [In] Jurassic Park we were creating robotic dinosaurs. So our robotic technology and engineering at Stan Winston Studio is beyond any robotic technology literally in the world. We have advanced beyond aerospace. I have guys that come from aerospace, working for me. Absolutely. We have more points of articulation than any existing robots in our robots. And we have a robot that is a precursor to Arnold, which is called the T1, which is the real deal. We pretended we built robots in the first Terminator. [In] Terminator 3, we built robots.” T3 is slated for release in 2003.
This from http://www.scifi.com/scifiwire Stahl Talks T3 Nick Stahl, who takes over the role of John Connor in the upcoming Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, told SCI FI Wire that the character is now 10 years older and has become a loner. "His whole sort of domestic life has changed," Stahl said in a conference-call interview. "He lives on his own, kind of outside conventional means, like a house. He kind of lives off the grid. And sort of keeps to himself and is very private, and ... the memories of what's happened 10 years ago are still very fresh. So he's very guarded and wary of technology." Stahl added that the character—originally played by Edward Furlong in 1991's Terminator 2: Judgment Day—still hasn't evolved into the rebel leader glimpsed in T2. "He's not [the great military leader]," Stahl said. "In his mind, he's really no more of a leader than he was 10 years ago." Stahl, who is best known for his critically acclaimed role in last year's In the Bedroom, said it was challenging taking on a role in a big-budget Hollywood movie. "The one thing about this type of movie I discovered is that you shoot something 100 different ways, so every time you do anything physical, you're going to do it over and over again," he said. "That can get somewhat taxing if you're not prepared for it, but there was a little physical training involved beforehand. I was trying to be very physically prepared for the role a couple months previously and did some training with weapons that I was going to be using in the movie—different hand-guns and things like that—so it was all really fun, actually. It was all really new for me, but I just had fun with it. It wasn't that tough at the end of the day." Stahl co-stars with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Claire Danes in Terminator 3, which recently wrapped principal photography and is slated for a July 2, 2003, release.

(SPOILERS):TheArnoldFans reports that at last week's "The Arnold Classics" bodybuilding seminar, Arnold Schwarzenegger talked a little about his upcoming movies. Not only did he reveal he will be doing a 2.5 hour daily workout regime to put on muscle for "King Conan", but also almost acted out the 'arrival' scene of his cyborg character in the third "Terminator" flick: "The Terminator then gave some fun new details to "T3: Rise of the Machines" as he practically acted out one key scene - the arrival. (SPOILERS) (Spoilers) The Terminator arrives from the year 2029 and in his usual birthday suite attire, he is in search of clothing. The T-850 approaches a strip joint called "The Spot" and luckily for Arnold it happens to be "ladies night"! Since there are so many other semi-nude male dancers, the bodyguards out front think nothing to out-of-the-ordinary of the nude cyborg. The guard tells the Terminator to go around to the back entrance but it doesn't listen and slams him and then throws him through the air. Arnold enters nude through the front among dozens of screaming and adoring female admirers of his massive body and spectacular private section".
The next major trailer will premiere with "The Matrix Reloaded" on May 15th.
musicofmarcobeltrami.com has an update on the score's current status: "Marco goes to the Sony scoring stage next week to record the 80 + minute score for Terminator 3. The orchestra will consist of 96 players and choir. So far director and producers are very excited about the score".

Winston Game For T3 Stan Winston, who designed the cyborgs in the upcoming sequel film Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, told SCI FI Wire that his new TX terminator robot that will also be featured in the upcoming video game based on the movie. Speaking in an interview at the May 12 premiere party for the game in Hollywood, Winston said, "It’s amazing to me that we had to wait ... three movies to realize that the baddest of all [terminators] was going to be a female. This time, it’s a very, very sexy, mean, very powerful robot." Read Full article here: http://www.scifi.com/scifiwire/art-main.html?2003-05/14/09.50.games
Terminator 4: Arnold Schwarzenegger talked to The Age recently about possibly reprising his most famous role for a fourth time - "Is this my last Terminator? No. I've so many more years left. I'm totally full of energy and thanks to my weight training and cardio-vascular training I'm in great shape. I consider this the middle term of my career. Go out and see the movie. The more successful the movie is, the faster we can make Terminator 4". Don't expect to much in the way of early spoilers for the movie though, the stars confirmed at Cannes that they can't really go into much detail about the film until closer to the release date. from http://www.darkhorizons.com/news.htm
Terminator 3: A final runtime of 109 minutes is set - almost half an hour shorter than T2.
Posted By: Voyager Jul 06, 2003 - 12:32 pm | | I have just seen T3, the ending just blew me away that I had the need to seek a forum about the trilogy. I sincerely hope that there will be a T4. If anyone knows for sure, please let me know.
Terminator 4: "I'm actually signed on for two more. But I can't even think a week into the future, much less like that" said Nick Stahl to The LA Times when asked if he'd do it. DK: Of course this does not mean that T4 is going to happen....just that he might be in it if it does happen.....
"T4 is essentially a go picture. Figures for T3 weren't fantastic, but still quite good. Very good. The entire cast has signed for another one. I believe there's a plan for Arnold to do this and King Conan back to back from: http://www.darkhorizons.com/index2.html DK: Since I'm not paying what is called blockbuster price, I have to wait at least another week...
Posted By: Hyperion Aug 04, 2003 - 07:13 pm | | As always the special effects were great, but for me this T3 film just didn't last long enough, nor did it go into the war with the machines enough, I was expecting some good battles and more relevant history during and after the nuclear war, but we hardly saw more than 40 seconds of it throughout the whole film; that spoilt the film for me. The new Terminator-female was great though, I enjoyed her character alot, and Arnies one liners were priceless as always but it just didn't do it for me like the Matrix film sequel did. Hyperion out
Arnold Schwarzenegger's Next: With the big man now confirmed to be running in the California State elections, it looks like all his projects from T4 to "Westworld" will go on hold.
NO Arnie in T4? Terminator 4: Superhero Hype reports that despite Arnie's move into politics, things are still proceeding apace on a fourth "Terminator" movie - producer Mario Kassar recently told Lebanese film magazine The Movie Guide that "T4 is in the works. The screenplay will be ready in 8 or 9 months. Once we have that, we will proceed with the production. The question that has never been answered in all the Terminator films is time travel. You can come from the future to change the present. But we never see how they go back to the future, which is a subject that can be explored. I think you already know where T4 is going from the ending of T3". Will the potential Governor still be involved - "It depends on what he's doing in life. If he wants to do politics, he'll do politics. Then we'll have to figure out a way to do it without him. But he has expressed interest in doing T4". from http://www.darkhorizons.com/news.htm
Terminator sequels I think will one day equal or better LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy. A terminator army might begin WORLD WAR IV. MILITARY MACHINES MERCILESS MAYHEM
I just now saw Terminator 3(LOL! I know I'm late), and it was great! The ending blew me away!! I thought they would stop the war from happening! I didn't expect the war to really start! I guess I didn't listen....they always said that the war would happen and the main mission was to always get John Connor through Judgement Day, not to stop it from happening. I read somewhere that The Rock is signed up for T4, since Arnold should be busy with his work in office. Maybe a rumor......
I can imagine him saying: "GET READY TO ROCK." "YOU, I WILL SHOCK." "YOU CAN'T TURN BACK THE CLOCK." "ME, YOU WILL NOT MOCK." "SHUT UP! IN THE MOUTH, YOU I WILL SOCK."
