I've loved this movie for a while. It's no masterpiece, but I thought it was an amazing sci-fi romp on the level with some of the old pulps I read as a kid. (And still do)

If you get a chance to catch it on cable, check it out! Much worth the rental, I wish it would have come out to theaters so I could have seen it on the big screen.

It's got great consistent special effects considering a budget that I imagine was not huge. It was directed by Stuart Gordon (ReAnimator, Robot Jox) and stars Stephen Dorff and Dennis Hopper. It's *definitely* a comedy, and has some amazing dialogue IMO.

Check it out, anyone who can appreciate good pulp sci-fi cheese like me will love this movie!
