Magaret Weis/Tracey HickmanWe have moved to new forum software and posting here is closed!
I have read several of their series (DragonLance, Rose of the Prohpet, and DarkSword) and these two are excellent. I highly recommend reading them...they are a great source of fantasy...
I myself am a Dragonlance fan, as well as a fan of the two authors. I have a rather large collection, still searching for more in second hand bookstores though.
Those may be great novels but my favorite by these authors is the Star of the Guardians Series - a fantastic set of novels
I have also been following the series since I picked up Dragonlance Chronicles. I have Dragons of the Fallen Sun and hope to get the next in the series soon. I would recomend the first book of the Starshield (The Mantle of Kendis-dai) to anyone. I have to get the second book to that sometime.
I'm a very big dragonlance fan, and I enjoy other books by the two authors including the Death Gate Cycle and The Darksword Novels. I readily reccomend any of these books to fantasy lovers. The on-going epic of the world of krynn is amazing, creative, imaginative and very well organized. Dragons of a Lost Star, the new book in the series brings the world of krynn back to life after the second cataclysm.
I love the stories. The dragonlance sega is wonderful. They kill off characters and introduce new ones which keeps the story alive. I have but haven't read the Death Gate novels. I hope they are as good as the Dragonlance sega.
Dragonlance is the best serie of books ever they tell about life in gerneral and the good and evil in a geat way
Speaking of their books, I most emphatically don't recommend their Sovereign Stone trilogy. It was, to put it bluntly, pathetic.
I wonder dAggressor have you read those Death Gate novels, I also have the Death Gate novels, and have not read them yet, same with star of the Guardians...oh well.....
