I'm really fuzzy on what I remember about this book. Read it about 20 years ago.

I think it was about a nuclear war/explosion, or something. A rich man had built an ultra-deluxe bomb shelter that would sustain 10 or so people for a couple of years. The entire story was really about a bunch of people in the shelter.

At the end of the book, the people were rescued by Australians or perhaps Spaniards--those not so hard hit by the nuclear blast.

I can't even remember if the book was any good, but it's bugging me. Does anyone out there know the title or author?
