i have this book that i bought at a market the other day and i think that it may be more valuable than i originally thought, actually i have two:
1. the knights of the red cross seven stories; printed 1877
2. macaulays essays and lays of ancient rome: printed 1889 (i think)

both of them have been signed by lords during the 19th century but i have no idea how to tell whether they are worth a bit more than i paid for them. i have searched the internet for prices but have been unsuccessful, please, does anyone know how i can price them?

They sound valuable. What did you pay for them?

Maybe enquire at a library for information. Somebody there should know where you can find someone who can help.

Austrailian dollars? Do you know what the U.S. equivilent is?

I just read that a copy of Edgar Allen Poe's first published book of poetry, Tamerlane and Other Poems, is worth $200,000 a copy.

The book on the Knights of the Red Cross sounds very interesting. It should be about the Knights Templar and the Sangreal and all that good stuff. You should definately find out more if you can. Could be some people interested. Especially after books like the Da Vinci Code. If you hold onto that book until after the movie for Da Vinci Code comes out, and then put it on E bay, you could make some serious cash!!!!!!!!!!
