The trouble is finding the right constellation!” ~~~~ Ellie and Carrie, who are very good friends, both try out for the soccer team at school, but only Ellie is chosen for the team. Carrie struggles with disappointment but soon learns that she has other talents and successes. This is a feel-good book written for children, but adults will be reminded of a lesson, also. Even though we may not be prizewinners at something, we can excel at other endeavors. The book is illustrated by Marjorie Priceman who has provided brightly colored pages and entertaining drawings of the children. The text is written in rhymes, which make it fun to read. Even though the book is for the young child- possibly about kindergarten through fourth grade- the preschooler will also enjoy it.
