I was wondering if anyone has read the Dragon Price series. If so please share your thoughts.

Yep. 6 books in all I believe. I have them on my shelf, but of course am too lazy to go and look. First 3 books, just awesome, loved it!!! Highly recommend it.

Last 3 books... just not fun. It's like two positives made a negative. That's cryptic, but I don't want to spoil anything so I err on the side of caution.

I'd have to agree with D3. I'd have to say read the first 3 books and then let it go.

No worries, it's not that they're bad stories. They're just too....um...depressing and dark I guess.

I dunno, I kinda liked that about them. They were very unlike most books. While they were definitely dark and depressing, I found that it made them more realistic than most, and the fight to overcome adversity was very intense.
