Good episode, lot's going on. I have a feeling we'll be feeling pretty empty this time next week. Lot of stuff gonna be left hanging. Only just to learn about Sikozu's gift and the Kalish Underground. Stark is back. Wonder how much they will bring to a conclusion and how much will be left dangling. And will we one day get some satisfaction for those threads that are left dangling, or will the forever be left up in the air?

This whole series seems to be winding up to something extremly big and comlicated. Unfortunately, we will not be able to see the conclusionunless there is yet such a trmendous uproar that they can get the financing to possibly end the series in a few (2-3) feature length movies.
Anyway, as for the ep, I would say that the Scarrans days are nyu, bered knowing just how vulnerable they really are. I mean they cant exist with out that plant? I still want to know why the Peacekeepers so resemble Humans. That ought to be a cool revelation. There is just WAY too much to see and know.
Now, Scorpius. I just dont know about him. He definately wantst to destroy the scarrans. Hey, didnt you just love the lovefest at the end of the ep? LoL. Everybody had someonel...er..well, except for pilot and Rygel. The reluctant kiss by sikozu to Scorpy,. Hmmmmm

This was not one of my favorite episodes of Farscape and as the ender of a trilogy did not rate up there with the first two. It felt "rushed".

Rushed is the right adjective.
Too many different [and new] writers spoil the story this time. Sure there was a lot going on but the problem was too much of it didn't make any sense.
The bomb. All the inherent problems with using a nuke were missing. The capsule even if having survived the blast [a major stretch of one's imagination] should have been blown by the force of the explosion traveling up the elavator shaft far away, perhaps a couple of miles and then there's the radiation. One would feel nothing at first but would be dead in a matter of arns. Nukes are dirty which is why they make a better threat than a weapon of choice.

The plants. Poor explanation at best. For the MAJOR weakness of the Scarrans to be handled in such a lackluster manner was a bringdown not worthy of the usual quality that is Farscape storytelling. This was a major plot thread just blown off as an aside which was a disappointment.

Grayza. She was facing defeat, humiliation and loss of command for not bringing Crichton back as a trophy to the PK high command and thus was willing to try to strike a blow to the Scarran command on Katratzi as well as reserve her place in history with a suicide mission.
Funny thing, to me anyways, was how the other PK on the bridge sided with Braca so fast? These are PK trained to follow orders no questions asked yet they show an interest in their own survival that is not typical of PK troopies who would be assigned to bridge duty aboard a commard carrier? We know that the dren runs downhill in the PK command structure so everybody onboard would share in some of the blame for Grayza's failure meaning that her "solution" might have seemed the most honorable.
We have also seen a host of PK "cannon fodder" running into battle over the years blindly following orders so this bunch seems atypical.

Sikozu. My biggest problem was with her mechabioloid "abilities" to fry the Scarran grunts.
This came totally out of left field and smacked of "Trekkish" technobabble where they always come up with a quick fix to solve problems. Remember in "The Communcator" the crew of Enterprise just happens to have a Suliban Stealth Ship handy to save Archer & Trip? Boring. Again I felt this was not up to par with the quality writing I've become used to on Farscape, plus the CGI effects were second rate.

Stark. NO FRELLING WAY a bioloid copy of Stark could have the powers of a Banik Stykera! Stark is unique in his powers even among his own people so that the "fake" Stark was able to torture Scorpius was a non-starter and thus a major plot flaw.

At the end I can accept that they go from nuclear wasteland to being back aboard Moya all safe & sound as a plot convenience but was never-the-less left with an empty feeling as my mind kept going over all the story inconstancies.
Other that that this was a fine episode.
I can only manage 2 1/2 Moya's out of 5 for WSS:LB.

Happy St. Patrick's day everyone!

Missed it! And forgot to tape it! Guess I'll have to wait for the season finale.
