This came up at another site, and I was thinking that someone here might know the answer.

When should each movie be watched if someone wants to watch the TV series from the beginning and to watch the movies in the proper place that fits in with the series?

Hi Bmat,

I would suggest:

1. The Gathering (Pilot Movie)
2. B5 Series up to War Without End
3. In the Beginning (Movie)(either doesn't make sense, or gives too much mystery away if watched earlier)
(4) Balance of B5 Series
(4) Thirdspace
5. The River of Souls (Movie)
5. A Call to Arms (Movie)
6. Crusade Series

Third Space doesn't pertain to the Arc, so really could be watched anywhere after the Shadow War (I think Chronologically it belongs somewhere soon after Into the Fire.

Legend of the Rangers Chronologically belongs before River of Souls, I think, but I would watch it after Crusade.

The Crusade Episodes, however, order for them is difficult to grasp. Because of the TNT interference, and the uniform changes, and the order TNT made JMS show them in, it's very difficult to get them in a proper order where nothing seems out of sequence.

Bmat...Here's a Link to the Master Episode List from the Lurkers Guide that includes all the movies inserted into the proper places in chronlogical order as JMS intended.
