Gruesome, but fantastic. I enjoyed this ep a great deal. Let the season of death continue.

I here by suggest we register and trademark the term "Season of Death" TM , hence forth known as SOD(TM) ...

As the SOD continues, we've lost Ayren, and got her back ( technically a death from last season ), Zhaan has parished and has yet to return, Pilot has faced near death, D'Argo and Chi died this ep ( Or did they? heh ), Crais is, what? In a coma? What whooped his arse? And now we have two John's. This could be rough. Quick prediction, one of three options for John v2.0, He'll either die saving them, or leave with Crais on talyn, or the v2 will be twisted some how, evil perhaps? Who knows though.

I gotta admit, this season is throwing some real curve balls and I'm enjoying the game. They've really made death a theme though, and it's working out quite well when I see the bigger picture like this. What they did in this ep was very original in my opinion. Especially original, and icky, is how they used the Pilot on the other ship.

Cudo's to John for finding a way to take care of this evil zombie lord.

Fantastic ep, as usual.

Spoiler:

The two John's reminded me of the two Rykers- from STTNG- have I remembered that correctly - it's been a long time? One changed his name and lived his own life.

I wonder if somehow the extra John can be used to get Zhaan back.

Fine acting by Jool.

Shocking, yes, how the other Pilot was being treated- something that is sickening and distressing.

The extra Riker used his (their?) middle name, Thomas.

A nice Horror theme for this one. Although I wasn't surprised that the crazy cannibals were the PK's (not hard to guess), it was creepy and disturbing.

I had a flash of "oh good grief, not again" with D'Argo. The duplicate deal was a welcome sigh of relief--I don't think I can take them killing another character off just yet (unless its Stark).

Chi had a good ep this time around. She got to kick some butt (I just love her little warrior yell), be tender, and humorous all in one ep. I was cracking up with her little jabs at D'Argo as she freed him. The early scene with her and Jool was great fun too ("see...violence";).

The "other" Pilot's plight was truly heart rending. It was cool that John was trying to help him while they helped themselves, even though the state of the leviathan and pilot were both so far gone you knew they couldn't be saved.

So now we have two Johns. Hmmm...my sympathy's go out to the rest of the crew. One's weird enough to have around!

Hi everyone!

I loved this ep too! Even though the PK Leviathan was trashed...poor thing. But didn't the Pilot on that ship say that they were attacked by the Scaarans? So I wonder if the same fate was suffered by Talyn and Crais. Should be interesting. SOD(TM)...perfect. Please, please, please let Crais recover. I still am wondering what the news he had for Aeryn was that was supposed to make her so happy.

I love how Chiana and Aeryn both constantly argue with Jool. That screaming would drive me frelling nuts too! Speaking of nuts...I have to admit to laughing at the scene where Chi comes across D'argo chained up with that mutant PK chick. She was teasing him and enjoying it. He was getting really frightened when PK mutant disappeared from the screen. :-)

All in all I enjoyed this ep...although it was sad to see the other Leviathan and Pilot in such
pain and horror.

I really miss Zhaan...hopefully she will make a return somehow. I also wonder how Aeryn will be with **two** Crichtons.

Interesting...next week rerun.

I think we are in re-runs for a few weeks. I think SCIFI knows not to compete with opeining weekends of big movies ;)

Good call on the Scarans. I heard the Pilot say that, but didn't consider that they are the ones that whooped up on Talyn and Crais. And I think he'll be fine, btw.

Here's my only problem with the Scarans being the ones that kicked around Talyn too. How long does it take a Pilot to grow back arms? I would say more than a day or to. Also, how long wold it take a crew of PK to get "Twinned" 30-40 times each, enough to eat a Leviathan? I'd venture to guess around a cycle or so. Gotta be more than a few Arns though. Even if a pilot's are grew back in an Arn, how long would it take them to eat the poor ship. SO what I'm saying is, how long ago do the Scarans attack this Leviathan.

Next question is why didn't they kill/destroy it.

They do sound like they are capable of this though, they are quite advanced. Talyn could have barely escaped. Never know, this could be Scaran space. Might not be the same Scarans that hit the Levi. I'm curious and excited to see what plays out. I bet this was a way to get Crais back with Ayren so we can find out what that info was.

As for Zhaaan, I to am waiting for the weel.

Let the SOD(TM) Continue!

Well then, 2 weeks later and I've made the move to Boise, ID from the San Francisco bay area.
Thank the Great Maker for this success.

A couple of comments.
I loved the "Day of the Dead" ep. "Eat Me". Weird.
I like weird.
But also, "been there, done that" as far as a story line go's. OK, different characters but the story has been done before except for the "twining" of our hero John.
Crowe, maybe it was because I read your comments before I moved, but I awoke from a dream thinking, "Crichton2", (vary heavy feeling), will join Crais aboard Talyn after he (Talyn) recovers from whatever happened to him?
Crichton2 will give good council to Talyn but he will be in conflict with C1 aboard Moya?
This is the kind of speculation that really makes FarScape the 'best' Sci-Fi Series being done on TV these days, without equal!

Now to Jool. What's the point?
Pretty? Sure.
How does she take a pee?
Strip off the costume, a big task and then pee?
Holding a pulse gun to her head without knowing how to fire it borders on the upsurd as part of the story, imho.
So, how to pee?
Forgive me for asking.
She may as well have asked the same question while pissing down her leg while thinking about it!
So, why Jool?
Eye candy ala 7 of 9 from STV?
Guess I'm just jumpy to see how Jool will add to the story with the new episodes.

So that's where you've been...thought you bailed on us :)

Jool makes interesting comic relief for me. With the female leads they already have, I don't think they added her just for sex appeal. Aeryn and Chi cover that just fine. Zhaan is-was-played by a very beautiful actress, but the character precluded me from seeing her as "sexy". I have a feeling Jool will be important to the plot at some point, then perhaps go away--maybe even go home? They do seem to plan the story arc pretty far in advance, so...

In any event, I can't believe what really concerns you is how she goes to the bathroom *LOL*

To answer the bathroom question, I'd say she would have a flap of some kind in the appropriate area to preclude having to remove the whole outfit, but I know of a number of clothing items on present day Urp that require removal in order to use the facilities. The body suit is one, (although sometimes there is a built-in opening.) If the lady is wearing a body suit with a tunic, for example, the problem is worse- the whole outfit has to be removed. Tights and leotard is another outfit that demands undressing, although I have seen leotards with snaps in the crotch.

Back to Jool's clothing, it would appear that she must need a maid to get into it. It is possible that she ordinarily would have a maid with her at all times so that would not be a problem. If she is sometimes on her own voluntarily and not as a result of unfortunate circumstances, I'm guessing that there is provision made by a strategically placed, and sealable (for modesty) opening. ;)

HEllo there folks. Lotsa peoples I havent seen in a while! Zim! Gail!, Anyway...what I want to know is...wehre did our mad prosoner get the tech to do the "Twinning" n the first place. Is he an evil genius? Hey Zim! I like your possibility for Talyn. Having the other Chrighton on board Talyn...along with Aeryn (at first)seems likely. I think that one of them will get sacrificed (maybe in the savig of Crais) . wouldn't that be ironic. After that, Crais would have to keep thanking Chright for Chrighton II's sacrifice. Hmmm...Love speculation. This series make for a lot of it.

Oh yeah...One more thing. Anyone think that maybe Scorpius has attacked Talyn?
