1st off this wasn't Starlost. I think it aired in U.S. in early 70s. There was a ship and different rooms were like a different world. There was a male and female lead. One episode they were trapped by the bad guy in tubes with their oxygen being sucked away. There was a button they could push to give the other one their supply and they both pushed it at the same time. That is the only part of an episode I can remember.

I believe the show you are talking about is called "Space 1999" it sounds like an episode called "Brian the Brain" where commander Koenig and Dr. Russell are abducted by an intelligent computer and placed in plexiglass tubes and then the oxygen was sucked out, each pressed the button to save the other. Does this sound correct?

This is exactly the right episodes Nevraldi. I love Space 1999 when I was a kid. I actualy bought all the dvd's. That cost a small fortune.Another great show from Gerry Anderson
