Posted By: Sindatur Mar 09, 2004 - 01:24 pm | | I watched it last night, it was pretty good and the Angels all did a very good job, of portraying the original actresses, I didn't even really recognize Tricia Helfer. It seemed to take a few line for them to get into character, but once they found it, they were very convincing Ben BRowder was spot-on for Lee Majors, couldn't have asked anyone to play him better.
Miniseries info: I know have a friend with inside info from the set (muhahahahaha!!!), and apparently filming on the miniseries finished on the 8th of this month. So I'm convinced it's coming now. Can I get a "Hell yeah"?

Posted By: Sindatur Apr 05, 2004 - 11:25 am | | Well, this is silly, why didn't they just do this in the first place. (From SCIFI Wire) SCI FI announced it will be bringing back Farscape with an all-new miniseries — called Farscape: Peacekeeper War — slated to air in the fourth quarter of this year. The four-hour miniseries picks up where the cliffhanger series finale left off and will reunite John Crichton (Ben Browder), Aeryn Sun (Claudia Black) and the rest of the Moya crew. Farscape creator Rockne O'Bannon and executive producer David Kemper wrote the miniseries, which was directed by Brian Henson. Peacekeeper War was produced by the Jim Henson Company and Hallmark Entertainment, and executive produced by Robert Halmi Jr. SCI FI will make the official announcement at noon on Monday, April 5, during the channel's advertising sales "upfront" presentation.

I don't grin...or have any anticipation....I live in NZ.....the scifi TV back country.....waiting, waiting, waiting is our name......
Posted By: Aldan Apr 08, 2004 - 01:16 pm | | *Aldan sighs in sympathy* I, too, have been in such situations. I currently am not set up to watch anything but local tv. However, I don't think that I'd want to watch the Miniseries/movies until I've had a chance to watch the DVD series first. I'm just happy that they are going to really CLOSE OUT the series instead of what I understand that happened.
Posted By: ZimNova Apr 08, 2004 - 06:17 pm | | DK, my porch lights on so E-Mail me with your E-Addy and for the cost of 2 Fuji HQ VHS tapes (around $5. US) & the cost of Int'l postage I'll tape the mini for you then post it because the Sci-Lie channel will no doubt air it more than once and I'll get a copy for myself then. Scapers we are. Friends we are. Brothers we are standing against the darkness of network TV. Darkness can not stand the light or the freedom of the Internet. As Capt. Mal Reynold's said during the Firefly ep. (parapharsing) *Our Ms. Reynold's*: "We've done something here today that nobody thought was possible. We survived against everything. That makes us mighty. Scapers: We Are Mighty! ZimNova
Thanks ZimNova for the offer, but I have not see any of the last season so I probably would not know what was going on.....no I will wait to the bit end......
Posted By: Sindatur Apr 09, 2004 - 06:59 am | | DK, also, isn't New Zealand on the same VCR mode as Europe (IE: NTSC or USA VHS, won't work in New Zealand machines)?
Yes Sindatur I hadn't thought of that, it's stupid really but that's the way it is.... Also I'm not into buying Videos, I have a machine but I don't get around to playing the videos I have so why buy more.....
"SCI FI announced it will be bringing back Farscape with an all-new miniseries" Insert swear word here...... Once again a bunch of lying frellniks. They didn't bring Farscape back, Henson did! They just happen to have been given the chance to air it. *Bangs head against Bonnie Hammer* <--- brick wall LOL!
Posted By: Nomad Apr 13, 2004 - 05:29 am | | My sentiments exactly, Ian.

Posted By: ZimNova Jun 13, 2004 - 08:20 am | | WOW! Thanks DK. Those shots are way cool. No Spoilers Follow, most are now common knowledge. Aeryn preggers and showing. Prof. Scorpius! Luxan's. lot's of Luxan's...one has to wonder are they the PK Luxan's or are they fighting on Crichton's side and who's side is John on anyways? Raelee looks great in her new makeup and I mean really great. In one shot it looks like there's a Delvian priestess standing in the background but it's hard to be sure. Everybody's packin' heat in most of those shots so get ready for ton's o' action...Woo Hoo. I saw this yesterday as well. New: Ben Browder Interview in SFX magazine. Enjoy. Thanks to RydraWong for the link.
