It would be a nice change though, to find a Goa'uld who actually does defect for honorable reasons! I thought I read somewhere that Jolinar was a Goa'uld who became a Tok'ra. - Tandara. There was the Goa'uld Kianna (Ep. 714 "Fallout" ) who, for the love of Jonas Quinn, risked her life to save him, Carter, and Teal'c. Can a Goa'uld change it's spots...er...tentacles...er...whatever? Perhaps it's possible that Camulus is being truthfull. (Q)

The image in this post is of Loki's ship (# 703 "Fragile Balance" ) IMHO, it's the exact same ship (the Daniel Jackson) that Thor and the rest of the Asgaurd were cruising around in, in the "New Order" episode. What happened to the "O'Neill" class of Asgaurd ship that Thor was using in seasons 4-6? Why go back to an older design? Or am I nuts (HEY! I HEARD THAT! ;-]) and it's a different ship?

Posted By: Qray Jul 13, 2004 - 06:34 pm | | Nomad, The picture is of the Asgard Loki's ship. From the beginning of season seven. I don't recall any other Asgardians using that ship until the first episode of season eight. Up to that point, they all seemed to be using "O'Neill class" ships, or older designs. In episode one of season eight it seems all the Asgardians are using that ship design. That ship design (Loki's) is the same design as Thor's (the Daniel Jackson.) It's also the design of the Asgard ships waiting in ambush for the Replicator ship near the new Asgard homeworld. Could it be possible that Loki stole a prototype ship when he went to Earth in the attempt to save his race by studying humans and solve the Asgardian genetic degradation? Would he do such a thing, knowing the threat that the Replicators posed to his people? Up until the point, when Loki disobeyed the Asgard Council by going to Earth, I didn't think the Asgard were even capable of such...subterfuge.
