Usualy these scifi shows go directly to Space now a days but maybe Global as shown them in Ontario already, anything is possible.
I think we've just had the first 3 eps here in Australia. As a fan of military scifi, this is probably one of my favourite tv series by far. Dragonfleet
So far I have only seen the first two eps, I can't seem to get into it....but then I have only seen two, maybe I need to give it more time....
Posted By: fanuilh Mar 09, 2005 - 06:12 pm | | I've seen every episode (except for the pilot, missed it, can't remember why), and it mystifies me that no one is posting here. I have an excuse -- I'm extremely busy -- but from what I've seen so far, it's an excellent show, the acting is superior, and the storylines within storylines are handled expertly. So -- is Baltar linked somehow with the Cylons (a la John Chrichton and Scorpius), or is he just plain nuts?

Even Farscape was shakey at first. First off they (BSG producers, writers et al) have to lay some basic groundwork to set the shows universe up and then introduce the main players to the audience with some basic backstory (mini-series served this purpose a lot). In this case made all the more difficult because of BSG:TOS which has a lot of fans panties in a knot because of the changes to TOS concept (Starbuck as a woman now etc). This current version is turning out to be a really fine series (we're at 1.09 so far) and I can't say a lot without spoiling the upcoming episodes for those who have yet to view them but the idea of the Cylons being able to take on Human form (Tricia Helfer as Six, meow) is both cool & scary at the same time. The show is more character driven than action driven at this point but fans from the U.K., who have seen the entire 13 ep.'s from S-1, are saying; "fasten your seat belts for the final 4!". Overall I'm happy with the progress of the shows story arc, writers and actors so far and I have to say with all the "adult themes" in this series it's a nice alternative to SG-1, SG:A & ST:Enterprise (cancelled ) on SF-TV. Also feel free to visit the shows offical BBoard: Here but be advised the episode "Flesh & Bone* (1.08) has 611 replies so far! These fans that their show seriously.
