Scifi and Fantasy Forum: Television: Mechwarrior Television show?
Mechwarrior Television show?We have moved to new forum software and posting here is closed!
I read in the news ticker in PC Gamer that they are working on a Mechwarrior television show. This caught great intrest to me, as an avid Battletech fan. Does anybody know any information about this?
I remember the battle tech cartoon vagly but that show was one of the best. then when i relized Mechwarrior was part of battle tech, i have loved it ever sence and if they come out with a mech warrior show it will kick some major butt. But i didnt get into mechwarrior untill the 1st game was gone and the second, i mean normal second. i got my hands on Titanum and mercinareis and it was a lot like the battle tech i had seen befor so i knew it was it.
Yes, I also heard from http://scifi.ign.com/articles/314398p1.html
I ran across a site, www.fxstation.com, which is an on-line portfolio for a guy who does CG animation for film and TV, and he did some of the pre-production work for the MechWarrior show. Some of his preliminary designs are on the site. No real info about the show though.
Yo Guys SUP.. It's nice to see Avid-hardcore Battletech/Mechwarrior Fans out there.. my callsign in BT/MW is Maverick.. my real name is TJ.. --to the guy with the recorded BT series.. is there any way i could get a copy of that?.. ohh.. Does anyone know anything about the Paramount Pictures deal with Devlin ??? --creator of "Eight Legged Freaks"-- and Wiz-Kidz making the movie?
Hello, TJ!
I would also like to be contacted about the recorded episodes I have most of them but I'm short a few...
To the guys who have all the episodes of Battletech...what was the actual working name of that show? Im tryin to find it everywhere, but cant...quite aggrivating...any help would be very much appreciated
Hails,
Mechwarrior Cartoon? Awesome News!!! Let me know, if you find out when it starts, and on what TV channel. I have direct TV. I hope its like the new CG type cartoons, or anime; since, I've grown kind of away from those childish looking catoons (ex: loony toons) LOL.
I would not mind getting my hands on the full set of the battletech cartoons and all I know about the movie is that it should be out next summer
the limeted was just a short run but the unlimetde has the same cards but if you want the collectable value then you need to try the limeted
Hi peeps i'm Jim aka KRT_AltairDraco on the zone and like TJ i am an avid Mechwarrior pilot and yes TJ we have played with and against each other on the zone. For info the original BattleTech series shown on tv was in 94 and ended 95 with 15 episodes, altho 14 was the part2 of 13.As far as the new series i have heard or seen anything about it,since 2001 if anyone has some info please email it to me thx.The Movie which is being done by Paramount and producer Devlin Devine, should be done by 2005.Also WizKids the original producers and owners of the BattleTech name has recinately been aked to join another major toy manufacturer, sry the name slips me at the moment. But Wizkids still holds all rights to the BattleTech name.Well good luck B/tech and MW fans.
Also anyone looking for the original cartoon tv series, can find them here http://www.mektek.net/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=1&t=15727&s=7c11ad80d82a4052d658827d5cdddfda
