I barely remember watching this show when I was a kid, probably late 80's to early 90's, and I cannot remember what it was called at all.

Most details remain sketchy, however the premise of the show best as I can recall was the main actor had a full suit of futuristic body armor - think boba fett or something like that. He drove around on an equally futuristic motorcycle, which had huge silly armor plates on either side of it - i think there were neon green lights on the armor plated sides..not much to go on, but anyone able to figure out what this show might have been?

It didn't seem that it should be very hard, but I tried science fiction series motorcycle in a search engine and have come up with nothing. Maybe somebody else can help.

Sorry, but it won't be me. The closest thing my mind came up with was Power Rangers. And that DEFINATELY isn't it!
