It's not a question of power or powers, for me it's a question of sexy'ness. Well at least that's were this thread ended up at.
OK, No sticking out tounges at each other. LoL
Hyperion cannot help it if he is insane. First, he says the falcon cannot beat the enterprise. then he falls for the borg queen (which is a little bizarre okay). By the way, to stand up for my interests, as a female here, i think han solo is a heck of a lot sexier than picard. Yes, picard has that certain charm that actor always has, but Han Solo charging across the universe is much more dashing than another cog in the starfleet machine. If Han Solo's ship can't beat the enterprise, well, han solo as a captain is so much, well everything, compared to picard.
Intersesting, Odrade. Solo. Figures, though. He's a self-interested pig. Women like that. You never hear a woman saying anything like that about Luke Skywalker, because he's a gentleman. What about Darth Vader? Does he turn you on? Lol. (Don't get mad, just kiddin' around.)
I woulod have leaned toward Dax!
which one?, Ezri or Jadzia, you mean Jadzia don't you?
DS9, Dax. I guess. Pretty, yeah. (But there's a man inside of her!)
No ther isnt! The "man" was simply another hosty. Anyway, Ezris is cute, but Jadzia is a matur hottie .
Any Deanna Troy droolees here?? Grrr.
I'll admit that when TNG first came outr, I was anamored by Troi. Wouldn't say drooling, though.
Yes I agree with you there Nomad.....
Amanda plus Neuro in a tree
HEH
Technology has progressed, in Star Wars, far beyond what exists in Star Trek. Starships have been around for millenia, rather than centuries. Shields are old news, and only fail so quick in the SW movies because the attacking ships' weaponry is so darn powerful, that even the SW advanced shields can't hold it all back. In SW, people on a low income can snap scrap parts together to create for themselves a ship or speeder the way you or I can create a dunebuggy if we're determined enough, because the technology has been around for so long that it's child's play. In Star Trek, the starships are the Federation's best effort. I'm a fan of both ST and SW, but technology-wise and also human-factor-wise, ST could never stand a beating from SW. And Picard or Kirk against a dark jedi? Or, the Borg against Luke? Sorry dudes, the force wins every time.
Sexiness? Hmm. Well, I hate to go back to 1983, but Princess Leia.. I liked B'ellana Torres of Star Trek Voyager, but she's always got that wall around her that detracts from her charm a bit. Yep, I liked Dax, but I couldn't stand DS9 enough to keep up with her evolution(s).
I say the Enerprise would have no problem with the trashship Mellenium Falcon. All the lasers would do is annoy Picard. Their weapons would be disabled, and they would be beamed aboard and arrested for misceif. (Hee hee.) The trashship falcon would be toed to a star base, and forbidden to be used again due to safety concerns.
Funny, I was thinking that on ST:TNG, Data woulod determine the frequencey of the force and block it off from the dark side. LoL ;-P
lol
Hehe. Yep. Data just might be able to figure out the Force. That would be another thing to separate him from our race and make him sad in his own emotionless way. I'd add to that, but I might ruin something for those few StarTrek fans who haven't seen the most recent movie. Anyway, StarTrek just wouldn't be the same without Data. As for the Falcon, it needs a rehaul. On a good day it might outrun the Enterprise. Falcon's warp drive is probably a bit faster, I wouldn't think slower (when it works). Of course, hyperspace may be something altogether different than warp drive. It could be much faster. Shields, if they'd work, should hold up against the Enterprise's weaponry for a while. But I don't think Han Solo or Chewy could really defeat the Enterprise offensively. Considering the think-tank the Enterprise calls a crew, I think they'd eventually crack the Falcon like a nut.
