Ok so its only August 20th... but Halloween is just a short... long... medium-long... few weeks... months... whatever. Anyway, is anyone planning costumes all ready like I do? For parties and dress up at work/school day if you have them.
I am dressing as a goth; no offense to any goth people at the site if there is any. My small town has none and my mom didn't even know what a goth person was. I've met a few in a bigger city and they were really nice. Its going to be awesome and I have two things to wear it at so far. Anyone else plan early hehe?

It sure is hard to come up with something truly unusual when you live in a huge metropolitan area. Goths here are SO passe. Hell, I grew up with 3 who now are as follows...
One commited suicide because she had unprotected sex while on heroin and got preggers.
One got married and has two kids with his wife (another goth) and works in a record store and also is a professional artist.
And the third is now a molly homemaker living like all of the rest of society, and bleaching her hair blond and getting waxings done and tanning salons and shopping at Nordstrom's and driving a frigging Suburban.
Ack!

I need ideas for this years costume. I have no idea. Over the past couple years I went as a sword wielding demon, child Link, Adult Link, Zorro, The Blue Ranger (yeah, that one was a while ago) and a guy from the seventies (Just last year), to name only a few.
I have no idea what to go as this year. My friend is going as an eighth grader from our Junior Hihg (he still has his gym uniform). Any suggestions?

I'm doing a Halloween event for the first time ever this year, and I need to think of a costume. Any suggestions, please?
Magus.... hmm, I can't think of anything original. Heh, I know, we should all go as our Lycoria characters... but of course no one would have heard of them, so that might not work.

A friend of mine I always go trick-or-treating with, the one going as an eighth grader, is the one who helped me come up with Jacatour. He was originally my main charater in Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn. He also know Shabel-Grah well, being one of my favorite characters, although he did nothing in his design.

I brought some pink hair dye I still haven't tried out, so maybe I could go as Judith. My mum isn't happy about me getting my nose pierced though.

Judith has a pierced nose?
I guess you learn something new every day.

Yep, I should probably post up her info, but I haven't got round to it yet. She has a nose stud.

Ah, the misfortune of being in Australia now...no Halloween... A few places are getting into Halloween parties down here these days but basically it's viewed as an American holiday. Still, in keeping with pagan tradition (bear in mind here that the seasons are reversed in the Northern hemisphere) I'm having several days of Beltane festivities. Bring on the food, fairies and fertility rituals say I!!!

YAY! FERTILITY RITUALS!
Realy? It's viewed as an American holiday? Do any of you from other contries view it that way too?

Not that we get a day off for Halloween. Morte like an american tradition.

if any has played a Devil May Cry video game you could go as Dante. Me I really don't celebrate Halloween, the only thing I got into was the candy.

I'm going as a gangster this year, not like a gangsta, like now times, no way! im going with the whole pinstripe pants, cool hat, old movies kinda gangster. like a female teenage mob boss or whatever. like alicia keys at the world music awards. yeah. anyone confused yet?
on a side note: ive been begging to get my nose pierced forever! my parents still wont go for it!

We don't get the day off either. We just have parties in just about every class and get no homework to allow for trick-or-treating. That never gets old at all. Even though I'm (SUCHANDSUCH) years old, I still go out, almost religeously, every year. It's like in Fiddler on the Roof.
TRADITIIIIOOOOON!
