So I was cutting wood today. We were way back in the boonies and had to choke and drag the fallen trees out with tow straps and ATV's as there was no other way to get to them. Unknown to me there was some old barbed wire fencing that over the years had fallen down and was buried under the dirt and snow. One log I choked dug into the dirt as it was being dragged. It snagged one of the runs of barbed wire, and began to pull the fence line along with it. Right into the back of my leg.
Not a terrible wound. It'll sting for a while, but there seems to be something about this stretch of timber. I didn't get out unscathed last time either.

UnusualIt's not in my nature to post "woe is me," kind of stuff. However, some of you may have noticed that I was gone for a while. Suffice to say, things are going real bad for me at the moment and due to monetary problems, I was without Internet access. Hopefully things turn around and I can stay online now.
Thanks to all those that inquired as to what had happened to me. Prost. 0 Comments Viewed 1823 times Auto-Tune THIS!The door opens with much squeaking of it's protesting hinges
"Hmm, gonna have to fix those," Q mutters as he peers around the place at the layers of dust and maze of cobwebs. "Meh, it's been in worse shape." Q picks up an old pizza box that over his absence has not only grown green and fuzzy, but developed it's own sentient culture. Tossing the box out the window, the rogue plops down on the couch with a "there, all tidied up," and flips on the American Music Awards. What is this current obsession with Auto-Tuning the singers voices so that it sounds like everything was sung by HAL 9000? No, HAL's voice is more human sounding and lifelike. Man, a little here and there is ok, but it's every club song and the entire song. Santana and Gavin Rossdale doing T. Rex's "Bang a Gong" was a bit of goodness. Not super polished. Had more of a feel of watching a live impromptu jam session.

If you don't know what a URL is, it's the address of where the image is on the Web. In the example below, it's highlighted in red... [img]http://www.compasstower.com/images2/bluesbros001.jpg[/img] The Image Tags are simply something that tells your browser that what's inbetween them is an image. In the example below, they're highlighted in red... [img]http://www.compasstower.com/images2/bluesbros001.jpg[/img]... [ Continued ]
