Anyone seen this 1926 Sci fi? Interesting, but impossible to take seriously when combined with the 80's syntehsiser soundtrack.

"I beleive in such cases it is normal to throw a bucket of cold water over the pateint's head" suggested Esther. "People used to sometimes pass out with rage at the enquiries desk in the office where I used to work. Complaining they'd been queing for hours or some such rubbish."

I saw it at teh weekend. As there is no cinema, we had to travel ages to get to it, and climb through ditches and things, but I think it was worth it. I'll have to see Firefly now.

Agreed. Also, it doesn't vary too much from the book, which si good, as it's a very good book. Incidentally, it was the first anime film I had ever seen.
