Speculative Vision

Anyone seen this 1926 Sci fi? Interesting, but impossible to take seriously when combined with the 80's syntehsiser soundtrack.

Esther narrowed her eyes and looked at him thoughtfully. "Now, this is suspicious" she muttered.

Esther said, "I've seen such things before- it's a symbol perhaps caused by a certain event invlving exceptional circumstances and power."

"I beleive in such cases it is normal to throw a bucket of cold water over the pateint's head" suggested Esther. "People used to sometimes pass out with rage at the enquiries desk in the office where I used to work. Complaining they'd been queing for hours or some such rubbish."

Agh. I kind of want to bring Judith back, I'm so used to her, but not sure where.

Esther took a quick glance at the one referred to as Ash. She seemed more sensible: sensible enough to want to ensure her own safety and role in this business, Esther thought.
"May I inquire why you are here? Involved in this- this incident?" Esther asked, with an awkward attempt at warmth.

I saw it at teh weekend. As there is no cinema, we had to travel ages to get to it, and climb through ditches and things, but I think it was worth it. I'll have to see Firefly now.

Esther rapped on the table, loudly. "Well then, that should wake him"

Agreed. Also, it doesn't vary too much from the book, which si good, as it's a very good book. Incidentally, it was the first anime film I had ever seen.

I have set off with very good intentions the last few novembers, but never end up writing more than a few hundred words.

I am starting a 'real-life' (basically dress up and hit each other with rubber swords and run roudn the local wods) role playing thingy tonight.

Esther decided to leave the issue with a distasteful glance at Sasha.
"Children have no place in such things" she said. "But, let us turn to the other issue I may be able to organise. Where, and when, are we going? what equipment will we need? What forms? What passes?"
