No more six days a week, 12 hours a day work schedule!

I'm back, and maybe, once I move, I'll have a chance to do more than just a little writing. :D
Hope everyone is well!

IMO, having the pregnant woman's doctors inform them as to the need to take folic acid and proscribe it would be far more reliable method to make sure these women get it. Though I can't speak for NZ - there are many women here that do not have access or choose not to access prenatal care - thus wou...

I think the argument against giving away supplements at pharmacies is that it would be an extra hassle for women to get it - and thus many would not. Folic acid supplements, at least in the states, are available for free or low cost to needy families - but that doesn't mean it's taken advantage of. ...

Well, just a more or less unsubstantiated rumour I heard was that it was going to be related to the Aztecs - but the question of it's timing is interesting - any chance it might be set during the war, you think? m I don't know how reputable that site is, but it seems to suggest it is after - and Shi...

Indiana Jones and the ------?

On monday, filming began for the fourth Indy movie, which has been in the works for years. I absolutely love the first three - but Mr. Ford is getting on in years, and I worry that this one is going to be awful! Any thoughts?

The squirrels found this combination to be advantageous and chewed through my screen to steal food from...

That award is terrible! I smell a lawsuit. RhFay - I'm sorry to hear about your experiences with the school system in New York. Personally, I grew up and was public schooled in inner-city Syracuse. I found both my teachers and opportunities to be exemplary, and went on to graduate with an ivy league...

You know, I was about to write this explanation about how I took my name from a fish that someone else named for me, who died, but was kind of the Evel Knieval of fish - when I realized this is the ONE place I don't use autovatic - because I joined SV a year or two before I had him. I think I picked...

But in all seriousness, cows do contribute significantly to methane emissions - esp. in countries like Brazil - something over 100 million head of cattle. It's an argument for going vegetarian, which I always thought was a bit silly - where do they think the cows are going to go if we stop keeping ...
