How about Tom Brady? His QB days with the Pats are probably over. He looks a bit like Shatner. His acting skills are probably close. Then you can stick some point ears on Keanu and you've got young (kind of ) Spock as well. And hey--Keanu once played a football player--I'm telling you, it's kismet.

I'll probably miss tonight's episode. So that means, it will probably be a great one that reveals all sorts of things. I think all my questions are the basic ones: What is the nature of the monster and how was it created? How does the island manage to screen itself from detection? What was the Dharm...

wait, so that could mean that encounter suits are not really encounter suits at all but . . . sexual encounter suits . . . i mean the equivalent of putting on a giant . . . wait . . . i don't think i want to finish that thought. in which case, in the first pilot episode, when the doc and lyta decide...

Hey

As a fan of the "beep" Cheney fan club, I object to the last post. I don't think the moderators should change his first name to "beep" just because he has the misfortune to be named "beep." I mean, I think most of us are mature enough to know the difference between Big "Beep" Cheney and just a gratu...

Hey!

As a representative of drunken sailors everywhere, I object to the last post. We resent the implication that we are debauched lushes like those people in Washington. Every drop of liquor we spend on money is worth it. And besides after six months at sea even Dick Cheney looks pretty sexy. Not sure w...

I'm delighted to hear from Crash that JMS will be saving her huge amounts of money by publishing 14 books at $29.00 a crack, thus making her pay only $406 to acquire more B5 stuff. Generosity like this is indeed rare. I am a bit miffed, though, that he is offering this SAME incredible savings to tho...

I'm a big fan of the Thursday Next series (although he seems to have suspended it). Over the summer I read "The Big Over Easy," the first in his new series about the Nursery Rhyme Crime Squad (in this case investigating the death of Humpty Dumpty, found at the bottom of a wall). If anything, I thoug...

Regulus: I think Regulus must have survived gaining the locket, because he left the note in the basin for Voldemort to find. So, either he drank the potion and survived, or he made somebody else drink it (who might not have survived). But I agree he must have gone to the cave with a second person, o...

hey good catch PC. if it was thrown out, most likely Mundungus probably palmed it and either has it or is fencing it. interesting. means Harry will have to con him out of it.

kreacher might have it, but kreacher is at Hogwarts now.

Really! you're more up on it than me. I don't know anything about the author. I thought there was a bio in the back of the book, but maybe not. According to one source Lian Hearn is a pseudonym for an author named Gillian Rubinstein (1942 - ) [like THAT really helps. Is Gillian a woman's name?] Here...
