How can you possibly say Shaun of The Dead was an awful movie, it was brilliant, extremely funny, a tribute to the Romero movies and classic British comedy, I haven't seen Slither yet, but reports I've heard have not been kind, I will still try and get to see it, as I like Nathan Fillion, (loved Ser...

Bit harsh there Magus, the guy just wanted to make his opinions of Stephen Kings' book known to the world, can't really fault him for that, ok he may not be the sharpest tool, in the box, but his heart's in the right place.. :)

Diesel, or snakebite and black

If you walked into a bar (you would say ouch if it was an iron bar) and asked for a pint of diesel, you would get...

1 pint glass containing...

1/2 pint lager
1/2 pint cider
dash of black currant cordial

it tastes revolting, but really gets you dunk quickly...

I used to be part of a voluntary paranormal investigative team called Twilight Worlds, we would organise vigils, meetings, trips to haunted places, I even designed the website (sadly it's gone now). We even produced a video tape about a place in the town that I live, a small seaside Pub called the M...

My fear is that last few minutes before you die, knowing that what is coming is inevitable and inescapable. All those thoughts that surround those final moments, have I been a good person, will my family be ok, how much football am I going to miss, who will win the FA cup, will anyone be at my funer...

How long is long enough...?

So here's one... does your mortality frighten you ? are you afraid of the moment you die, or is it the way in which you die that scares you ? Do you feel that the average human life is long enough (60-70 I believe is the average !), would an average lifespan of say, 160 years be better, what problem...

Have we lost something...?

I've just been scanning the archives (from when we were all green and black) and I was wondering what has happened to a lot of the older members, gnollslayer, Athalia, Odrade to name but a few, in addition, has our enthusiasm dropped off of late, I've noticed longer time periods between answers to q...

Just finished reading I am Legend by Richard Matheson, about the last surviving human in a world of vampires, it's only a very short book, and shouldn't take you too long to read, but it's a jolly good yarn with a nice twist at the end...
