Re: Cops mass-arrest innocent people

Qray: I'd like to see some footage or evidence of these "educated and street-smart" prostestors you speak of. The majority of protestors I see aren't any of these things. In fact they seem just the opposite. Woefully ignorant and uneducated on the particulars of what they're protesting, as well as ...

Loxley: With that in mind, and more as a side-note than something adding to the discussion, it's also known that both US and Canadian police have, from time to time, used agent provocateurs (sp?) to allow them to strike down on peaceful protests. Neegle was also curious, as he stood rubbing his head -- which he did not out of confusion but to scratch the itch on his forehead caused either by the beads of sweat or an anxious muscle reflux, or both, during the short moment of the uncertain threat. He had grown rather attached to his new friend...

Re: Chinese milk powder scandal

Its very sad isn't it... That the government was corrupt and allowed something like that to happen... Makes you wonder what kind of things are sneaking past our government... They also delayed the matter probably because of the games: China's official Xinhua news agency also reported yesterday that...

Re: Scandal: Lennon Fantasized About McCartney

Ahhh. Have to say one more thing. Yes, the fact that it was Lennon bothered me. I am an admirer of Lennon for the artist, intellectual and worldly figure he was. I was (and am) morally outraged about the exploitation of Lennon.

Now I want this topic to die!
