How did you know I was after your heart? After all I did to keep it a secret.... dang. I've had no schooling in geography but I will often locate various resources online so that I can do things properly. Recently, I have been looking into air movement and how that affects the locations of forests a...

strong points: -plotting. I know how to make an overall story entertaining -characters. I can make characters that people relate to, whether they love them or hate them. -character interaction. Always have interesting sub-plots going between many characters. Amusing, sad, romantic, conflicting, etc....

Call this going overboard but what I did was bought a globe, peeled off the picture of earth, primed it white, and drew my entire world onto it. That way, I can know how everything relates to everything else on a global scale. I also find that I can be a lot more accurate with placing mountain range...

Here's a big thing. If you are going to give information in dialogue, don't make it an infomercial. You know, where that person appears on camera, talks about normal life for a second, and moves onto the spiel about what people need to know. It always comes across as fake.

Personally, I would like to see a story (a tragedy in the end) about a man who is a huge hero and does tons of good stuff but because he spends none of that time with his family and kids, they grow up into the people that undo everything he tried to accomplish.

One thing I see in those hateable villians is a modest introduction. They aren't anything special. The quality that makes them so darn hateable is when the hero is very very close to finishing them off, they escape and manage to take something small with them that the hero values, whether it be a pe...

Something just dawned on me as I was reading back regarding who RAB is. Someone mentioned an Alphard Black who was wiped from the Black family tree. Perhaps R.A.B. Could stand for Regulus AND Alphard Black. Perhaps B could be the initial for a third person. R.A.B. being more than one person would ex...

I am [age edit.Bmat] and I still follow the Redwall series closely. If you think that they are bland, uninteresting books, then you are a surface reader. There is a lot more depth in them than most seem to think.

Myself, I am a perfectionist. If I'm going to do something, I am going to do a good job. Example. I am working on a world that is steeped in over twenty thousand years of history. There are eight different races and I am writing the history and culture for each one. I am making the maps as geographi...

Outside of the world of Severnia, I enjoy music, (listening to, singing, and playing) art, (drawing, painting, carving, mapmaking) writing, and world building. In Severnia, I am a Rolc named Kai. I...

"I'm fine," replied Kai. "I'll see if the lady wants something though. Brizjien, can I get you something before I retire for the night?"

(By the way Neurolanis, I emailed you a version of the map that I drew.)

Kai looked up from his brooding and noticed that Midnight had moved to conversing with others. 'Don't be surprised', he thought to himself. 'You're not the most exciting company in the world.' He looked and noticed that Brizjien was still sitting at the table. She looked lost in thought. Kai cleared...
