Ok, I've had this idea for a while now, and it just seems to be growing and mutating about as fast as Ebola when ignored, so tell me what you guys think!
One of the things I pride myself on is good names, and I go to a great deal of trouble and thought to get them just "right". However, Spellcheck laughs at me and spits out what it thinks I should name my characters. Needless to say, slightly different from what I was looking for, but fascinating none the less!! If Spell had it's way, I'd have Prince Ashtray, Lady Kenmare, Lord Aliased, and King Thrashing!
So, what I was considering, is a complete parody, using these names, and going absolutely crazy on the "plot", or more accurately, lack thereof. I would be interested to here opinions on this, or if someone wants to kick the idea around with me, let me know!

I like the Idea allot. if you did a serious plot with the spell check names it would be even funnier.

Agh, I've been slipping up in keeping caught up in... Whoops, worlds starting to spin a bit fast there.
Um yeah, anyway. I haven't had a chance to work with this particular story, am trying desperately to get a couple of others done! But I'll play with the idea as soon as possible, and then post it for critique!
And half of spellchecks fits are due to letters switching places with each other, courtesy of a wonderful little nuisance called dyslexia. My computer really dislikes thier for some reason!

Hmm, so this magic (Spellcheck) is completely neutral in origin. People are born with the ability to use such magic, however there is a twist. Those capable of reading aloud the magic words flawlessly are capable of acts of good. Those who are not so capable of reading the words aloud flawlessly (dyslexic?) cause all sorts of chaos and destruction.

What if the God is Spell and magic, which comes from him, is called check. So a magician would hence be performing Spell's Check.

Also nice Magus! Dang, now I don't know which one will work the best. I'll not be getting at this for a while, I start 4 weeks of classes that will be 35 hours a week. This starts next week, so all I'll be doing for a while is sleeping, school, and checking forums!

This is a very good idea. Satire is always fun. You must let me read this when you get some progress done on it.
