What My Heart Tells Me

What My Heart Tells Me
By SpookyKatie 4-17-06

What my heart tells me is to be strong to never let others tell me wrong.

My heart tells me to hold on and to never let go of the dreams I wish for, and the people I love.

My heart tells me to say the words I never had said to anyone before, to brake down the walls so tall and strong, and to let me fall in love with him.

My heart tells me the things I should do and I know they're true cause they brought me so much love,

So to my dearest heart I thank you for you have pulled me through and showed me what to do. My dearest heart thank you.

You have a very spirited and energetic way of writing peotry, which I personally love. Pickier persons might wish for you to slow the pace a bit, or shorten the sentences and add some odd words in there. But, explore in your own unquie style of creativity! :)

Your heart is right!

One should always listen to ones heart, lest one's heart be broken, and we all hate picking up those pieces!

It was alright, I felt, and you know my lack of sap. It was a nice short poem, that worked well the way that you wrote it. You might want to consider dividing those sentences into different lines of stanzas, and toy with other things here or there, but it's pretty well as it is, otherwise. Nicely done.
