Red sands slipping through
The long glass cylinder
An hourglass cemented to the floor
Unable to turn back ticking hands
But forever marching forward

Distant memories behind glazed eyes
It’s so hard to believe that you
Even remember my face
Through the endless procession of
Seconds and days
A blank sheet every morning
Wiped clean at dusk

And hidden in the folds
Our decisions hide
The fierce resolve to
Never forget
Never regret
Lessons learned at the price of

The twenty-fifth hour
The end of the line
Now face your faults
Your sins, your fate
The whole of your life on

And wish that time had been
A little kinder

Yeah what she said.
I am the poet of the body and I am the poet of the Soul. The pleasures of heaven are with me and the pains of hell are with me. The first I graft and increase upon myself, the latter I translate into a new tongue.
