Hey - has anyone else read any of Clive Barkers fantasy novels? I am almost finnished Abarat and it really is fantastic and magic - a real pleasure to read. I have heard that Weaveworld is also stunning. Anyone have any thoughts?

No, but he does seem like he could be a good read. I especially want to read The Hellbound Heart, and The Scarlet Gospels sounds more than promising.

Weaveworld was the first of his fantasy novels I read, the writing isn't brilliant but the ideas and storyline are great. I really enjoyed it but I would recommend 'The great and secret show' which is even better.
