Erfworld : The Battle for Gobwin Knob. (The first episode.)

I don't know if anyone else is following this online comic, but the latest Erfworld installment has Wanda going total batboop on the opposition.

The thing is, all the words she chants as part of her spell are all cheat codes! With the exception of the last two words.

ABACABB is a Mortal Kombat cheat code.

GOURANGA! is a GTA cheat code used if you run over a complete group of Hare Krishnas.

IDCLIP is a DOOM cheat code.

XYZZY is cheat code that originally was seen in the Colossal Cave Adventure computer game.

UUDDLRLRBAS stands for "Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B A Start" which is a console cheat code.

AYBABTU is short for the infamous "All your base are belong to us," from Zero Wing.

Aggro is MUD/MMORPG slang for aggressive behavior and/or someone/something that will attack pre-emptively.

A few episodes back, Parson was pondering that only the cheat code "god mode" would let him win the upcoming battle. Did Wanda just give him his wish? Did Wanda only unload a boopload of buttwhoopin' to eliminate all those standing against her so that she can confront Jillian one on one? Did Vinny survive because he was "hanging back?"

That'd be boopin' awesome!

So what's your take, pim. You think Vinny survived?

What if all magic in Erfworld is actually cheat codes...hmm...that'd be one way of looking at magic.

Erfworld is moving to it's own dedicated Web Site. The new Site will be the home of all further Erfworld stories for Book 2 and beyond, as well as a store, world-building wiki, and a supporter's program called "The Toolbox." The current Book 1 strips are already online there.

Whoa! It looks like the King of Jetstone hired The Deadly Duplicator from Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law to be his Dittomancer!
