This is for those wishing or currently running a Lycoira Adventure. I hope this will be useful and will inspire you. :)

-----------------------------

OK, I've learned a lot from my mistakes. Allow me to share these with you, as well as share what Lycoria is and how it is best served.

SO, YOU WANT TO BEGIN A STORY OF YOUR OWN
Lycoria involves a number of people. The Gamemaster or Storymaster is the one who begins a story and manages. This requires responsibility, and free time. And consideration. You must obey the Rules of Lycoria (in the intro) and must also show your fellow posters respect. You cannot push them around and take too much control over things because they'll get frustrated and leave. However, you must keep the story going or it'll get slack and they'll leave. A story should conclude, and this will only happen with you, Gamemaster.

HOW DO I MANAGE A STORY?
Well, you'll want to begin with a prologue or beginning post interesting enough to engulf others. Most stories begin in the Jaded Wayfarer's Inn, where characters meet and set out on an adventure. But the inn isn't the necessary place for an adventure to begin. I'll ask that settings and scene changes are distinguished by a separate paragraph, preferably the first or only one in a post, with **before and after**. After all, morning must come sometime. People here often post on a daily basis, and that means you must appear at least a couple times a week!

LYCORIA DISCUSSION
http://speculativevision.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=27
Here you come to the Lycoria Discussion and the Q&A, where you can ask us any questions you have. The discussion is essential as here players meet and talk and discuss everything from plot to character development. Of course most of what happens in stories are not planned, but if you have an idea that involves someone's character you need to ask them first. It's a great way to keep up on what's happening.

STORY IDEAS
It's very important to have an idea to build on. Don't make it too specific because the other players will help in the shaping of the story as it unfolds. But just having people meet up and go on an adventure just 'cause is idiotic and isn't likely to attract players or build to anything meaningful. Try working out something creative or new, or at least something that you find genuinely interesting. It must not tie too directly with your character(s) alone, as, if you're trying to hog all the glory who's going to want to join you?

LASTLY
Have fun! If you're not having fun than who will?
