"What would happen if...?" has always been a staple of Science Fiction. What do you wonder about?

Nature always seems to balance itself out. It only seems a mess through our eyes because we want to organise and categorise everything.

How many gerbils would it take, do you think, to overwhelm an elephant?

I imagine there would be a mess for a time as population sizes fluctuated radically and many species were wiped out. But I dont think it would take too long to reach an equlibrium. This has happened many times in nature. For example, a continent collides with another or a sea freezes over connecting two land masses where life has evolved separately for millions of years. Suddenly the creatures are thrown into an environment with very alien animals. Some animals will be able to evolve to fill different niches, for example, getting smaller, going underground or becoming nocturnal. Others species which can't adapt quickly enough will die out. Harsh, but that's nature for you.

We'd be eating more than just hamburgers at McDonalds. I still se cattle being raised, not for us, but for the real dish.

Rex-burgers, Dragon Dumplings, Sea-Serpent Steak, Yum....

With a family the size of mine, A t-Rex will keep us from the grocery store for a week. Nay on the unicorn though. Call me weak but eating a unicorn seems to much like eating a dog. And I know they eat domestic animals elsewhere in the world (Like, third world countries) but eating a dog just seems creepy. Besides, Unicorns are probably going to be kept with horses. Dumb beauty shows, pony rides, and races.

Well Unicorns are beautiful creatures. So of course will have beauty contests for them.
