I was wondering if anyone knew when the next incarnation of PlayStation is coming out?

I have heard release dates for other systems, but not this one.

I can't wait. I heard a pretty cool rumour about it, but I'm not sure if it is true. Someone told me that it runs an independent, pretty well inexaustable power source. The whole thing is wireless and it doesn't need to be charged. Just a rumour, but if someone can tell me what he was talking about, that would be nice.

The only thing I have heard about the release date is that it is long after the other two. I believe they should try for Christmas but they might not make it. Right now I am hearing next year

Yeah, I also heard next year. I guess the X-box 360 comes out this winter and the Nintendo Revolution will come out next year around the time the PS3 does...thats all I know. But I've seen the E3 pics from the PS3 and they are absolutely amazing!

Just a rumour I heard. Don'y know if there's anything to it. It will still likely be cordless. I know the controllors are wireless, but the system might not be. And it might

Ps3

Postby Dr_Love » Sat Jul 02, 2005 9:08 pm

The PS3 will have power cords..but it will have wireless controllers and can suport up to seven of them right off the bat. No questions asked, it beats out the Xbox 360 in a heart beat. In my personale opinion it will sell over the Xbox 360 and the Nintendo Revolution together will.

Yes, but most likely, The Revolution will have the highest durability and reliability. All I know is that both my PS1 and PS2 started having problems after three years. My Xbox's power supply failed in less than a year. My NES still runs.
That's the kind of gear you get from Nintendo. They're a company who values their customers and games and sees them as beloved franchises as opposed to cash cows. If they would just make more mature themed games, they would kick the cow poo outta Sony and their endless rehashes.
That being said, I'm probably going to buy all three when they come out.

PS3

Postby Dr_Love » Sun Jul 03, 2005 6:14 am

Your right, the PS3 isn't as durable as it should be, and the Xbox dose have alot of bugs, but Nintendo is to far behind to do to much right now, if they kick it into high gear then maybe, but otherwise i think they will only be there for the kids when it comes to games.

They've got a pretty cool idea with the ability to download all past nintendo games for free. PS3 will make for the best system all round, but Revolution will be pretty cool too.

Xbox 360 is going to blow

For those that like the classics yea, I enjoy the classics alot but I'd rather play the new stuff just for the graphics really.

Some classics are pretty good and I'm a little sorry that many of them appeared lost for a long time. But now, for nintendo at least, they're all coming back
