Frank Frazetta was one of the preeminent Fantasy artists of all time, featuring an instantly recognizable style that brought him universal acclaim. In his early career he was a comic artist, including work on the Lil' Abner strip. In the 1960's he turned out magnificent cover art for pulp paperbacks including most famously the Conan and Tarzan series of books. The scantily clad brawny swordsmen and seductively well endowed maidens of his artwork still heavily influence the genre today.

Mr. Frazetta was 82 years old.

I had several "coffee table" books of his works at one time. I also have no ideal how many paperbacks I bought because Frazetta's cover art caught my eye.
