Did Science Fiction Predict This?

This is a thread like the one about "Science Fiction Predictions That Came True" only with a slightly different twist.

Think of some technology that science fiction writers didn't come up with but that is now in common use:

Touchscreens is one that comes to mind. Apparently the history of their existence goes back further than I would've guessed, to the 1960s-70s, but especially with smartphones I get this "Who woulda thunk it?" moment when I see someone scrolling like mad! :D

I thought the same thing about computer mice a couple decades ago!

I think of tiny cameras. A friend showed me her new camera and it was the size of a thick credit card.

Just about the biggest thing science fiction seems to have missed is this.
