I'm ok. Still grinding away. I'm typing on my phone, so excuse any errors. Looking to have an internet connection soonish.

Played chicken with a tree on my quad.

The tree won.

Fractured a vertabre (no spinal damage. Not sure how that works,) bruised my pelvis and some even more important bits. All healed up now, though.

Lost said quad in a barn fire a little while later before I could rebuild it.

My parents house burned down a few months back. No one was injured. They even got their cat out ok. Currently rebuilding it for them. The house, not the cat.

How have you been?

I am sorry to hear about the quad and your injuries. Glad you are feeling better. Fractured vertebra and pelvis sounds serious.

Thank goodness your parents and cat weren't injured. How long will the rebuild take? Do they know what caused the fire?
What caused the fire in the barn? Have you been able to replace the quad?

I have been fine, thanks. 6 grandchildren now. They have been visiting, one at a time, during the summer. My mom is in a nursing home, so I go over there to see her 2-3 times a week.

6" to the right and I would've been dead. So...I can live with bruises and fractures. That was quite a while ago though. All healed up now.

I'll have it done by the end of Febuary. Mother Nature has not been cooperating.

A candle on the stove became superheated, the glass cracked and the wax combusted. Set the wall on fire and away it went.

Barn...an idiot inadvertantly started the fire [not me.] Lots of cars got destroyed.

Yup, replaced thw quad and have already blown the motor up on that one. I sense a theme here.

I've heard they've found out what causes that.

I am sorry to hear that. I hope she is at least doing well.
