I do not know the restrictions just yet but probably around this size. (reference to the site)

If you go to Elfwood.com you can find awesome pictures. And Qray was awesome enough to crop the one I wanted for me, so you could probably crop whatever you want on your own for it to fit. Or maybe you could ask somebody to do it for you.

Or you could do as I did.
1. Steal a photo from the internet.
2. Resize, crop, cut and paste in adobe paintshop pro.
3. Paintshop Pro all kinds of effects you never thought possible.
4. Horribly mutilate the original photo.
5. Do not give either the photographer or the internet site any credit for your masterpiece.
6. Enjoy the compliments for such a cool avatar.
