That is because you are not taking my deep and philosophical out look on life, you were having a good day, but you did not realize it till something came along to change it.

If Q was having a really bad day, like say by a hilarious misunderstanding some one who will remain nameless took his motorcycle to new york and then flew home, IF he had won the lottery that day ( he did not sadly )His day would be much better.
Oh and the fictitious yellow motorcycle was put in storage. They put this white shrink wrap around it and drained all the fluids.
So it will be fine. Just in case some one was worried.

Sure, sure. But IF on that same day his mother died. His day would suck. And let's be honest, there are a lot more mothers than there are lotteries. See what I mean? The good news must be so extraordinary to offset any kind of typical bad day as to occur maybe once in every two life-times. But the kind of bad news that has the potential to absolutely ruin even the best of days comes around on a daily basis. Or maybe I am too much of a pessimist, or too sleep deprived.

Or both.

Everything I have worked for in the past 4 years is about to crash down on me, crushing me, and the idea of who I am.

You know, every time you mention stuff like that, the first thing I do is go out into my shop and check to make sure my Ducati is still there. :smt016

Life isn't easy. It's harder on some than others, but there is rarely a day that goes by that isn't filled with both good and bad. Perspective is key to how you deal with the obstacles that life keeps putting in your way.

Take for example Flyleaf's song "Fully Alive," which is about the wife of Trust Company's vocalist Kevin Palmer's, Layla. A woman who was so ill that on the rare occasion that she could even manage to get out of bed she was always smiling. Being happy about a brief respite and the little things most people take for granted every day.

Oh, and...STOP STEALING MY BIKE! :smt016
I'm going to die the way I've lived...poor, screaming, and naked.

Went to the Barksdale AFB "Defenders of Liberty" air show today. Great weatehr, though a bit of a breeze. I found out that my camera is not well suited for "high speed and low drag" shots, however, since virtually all the shots of flying aircraft are out of focus.

Yesterday was just like any other Saturday, the usual things occurred. But there was something missing, no one wish me a happy birthday.... no one remembered....

Thank you,

I can understand those in the virtual world not remembering...

My brother has just started night-shift, so I can understand that he had other things on his mind...and so to my parents...

I give them a hint...and then my mum remembered.
