*putting the apprentice's hat on*

Speaking about smithing (or is it smiting?*s*) words in practice, imagine flashing one, and instead of electric-blue light, the object of flashing perceives the common absurdity of rather obscene play!

In the case of light, a thunderbolt might explain the flash.

In the other case *blushing*, may I as rather more familiar with Greeks, allude to good old daddy's "flashed" manifestation as thunderbolt?

In the case of LB, well, he mentioned thunderbolt since he thinks in terms of light by name default, so the idiocy in the post might, just might possibly be excused. Unless he's again working as a...

CHAAAAAAT!

Well, not now. Though you can chat now. I'll be in chat later tonight. 8pm-ish CST.

For now I've got to go build a retaining wall and move some dirt.

"Don't get up ladies," Q tells the lounging and vodka-lemonade drinking Ariel and Katie.

Haha! Oh, Lightbrigade, that song was lovely! I thought it was going to be another song by the same name.

I've been meaning to ask if we could have the chatroom stickied where people would see it easily enough.

Good idea!

I tried to make it so we could just click the topic name and go to chat, but it didn't work.

This whole thread was stickied so that people can easily see when someone posts that they are in chat, as well as where the chat room is.

One thought... since the site for the chat is posted at the beginning of this particular area, perhaps one of the members who posts in the chat often could put the chat site as a signature, and label it as such, so that it will be easier to find...

3 in the chat

Postby LightBrigade » Thu May 24, 2007 5:35 pm

According to a wonderfully original utterance, this time it was a bathing tub full of hot water, and what did all three people miss?

No, not a plastic duck, no, not a plastic boat...

no, not a teddy but an angry bear to play with! Gee! I just can't miss that next time!

*scratching head... 3 in a tub?... sounds kinda...*

Knaves! The only knave present was my majestic humbleness, I assure you, Who Me. *bow* As for my candlestick,

The oldest known printed version is from the 14th century, The rime is interpreted as describing otherwise respectable tradesmen attending a peep-show.
