Well, at least that means you wouldn't have to worry about insurance if Mr. Ariel finds new employment. That's got take some of the stress off, yes?

Gotta love that financial stress! I know that I sure do.... I mean, living without a consistent income has become altogether too normal for me, and, well, it's working wonders for my body and my soul (well, my mind, actually). I really hope that you two WILL get what you need for work, and that it will take place with great speed!

Good luck! I'd wish that for myself as well, but that might curse the one I wish for you, so I'll avoid that....

My brother is also looking for employment. Even though I don't particularly need a new job, I've got another opportunity to work for Gulfstream. I'm not sure if I'm going to take it though.

Aldan, I thought you found a job. Was I wrong?

Would it mean relocating?

Nope. It might mean working 2nd or 3rd shift though.

I'd take third shift in a heartbeat, and it's not just for the .50 cent an hour shift differential, but that helps. ;)

I worked third shift for a few yeas a few years ago, and once I got used to it, it was great. It allows for flexibility during the day, and as long as I could get a shot at sleep during the morning, and then a nap before going to work, it was all good.

Then some putzes had to screw things up.

But, six more months, and the "hard times" will end. :)

Well, we work the rest of this week and next week and then hubby and I will be unemployed. The company was going to keep everyone a few weeks into September, but now that isn't happening. :( I need a hug!

Many hugs to Ariel.

I am very sorry to hear this, Ariel. Will you be able to get Unemployment income?
