You're not supposed to know that. It's a secret.

Monkeys with grenades and machine guns are a thing of the past, so inefficient because you have to use cannons to get them to the enemy. Do what we do, give butterflies bombs and point them in the right direction. Or pigeons for that matter... whats the matter with you people, have you never played Worms before?
You're not censoring reading material Pim? Excellent, free copies of my book 'Why Pim should be overthrown and her Empire burnt to the ground,' for all...

I do not plan to interfere in the arts, actually the art's will have more freedoms than they do now.
name a repressive regime that produced good art.
ever seen north Korean art? Kitsch.
the Empire was so repressive that they had no art at all. (or did you see any pictures in the death star?)
some things need to evolve on there own and the arts are one of them.

Re: evil pim's monologue Q&A
Ah, that would take us down the squalid argument of how you define good art. Personally I find the posters and propaganda of the soviet union very stark and bold, somehow beautiful despite their great destructive and propaganda purpose and the film Battleship Potemkin, though made to glorify the Russian revolution is still a great film for its beautiful montages (you're talking to a former film student here in my college and university days)
Yet, artists and writers and playwrights were all persecuted under the majority of regimes for the simple reason that they could become a creative voice contrary to the political and social ideals of the dictatorial state and many did, with the power to potentially influence the minds and hearts of the people away from loyalty to the state.
No, if you want to create a dictatorial state, you've got to control your art and media more tightly than you do anything else. If you've not watched 'The Lives of Others,' Pim, get hold of it, a perfect example of state paranoia about artists and creative ways.
As for the Empire, no it didn't have any art, just statues... lots and lots of statues, mostly of Palpatine...

minions all the do is complain, you repress them and make them eat properly and they complain they want to eat what ever they want and be free.
you tell them that you will allow freedom of the arts and they complain that they wish to be repressed.
I am begining to understand why most evil empires end up killing off most of there own populations.

Re: evil pim's monologue Q&A
Always remember that though to a government, an person may be just a number, to the person they are fully rounded and unique and it is the duty of individuals to resist the will of the dictatorial state, regardless of whether in the mind of the dictator enforcing that will such ideas are of benefit or not.
Dictators end up killing their own populations, as you say, simply because they are frustrated by the individual and their lack of control over them at every turn. This is why artists and art are so controversial and are treated with such paranoia because they, and intellectuals are less likely to submit to the ideological will of the state because not only are they unwilling to march with the herd (as it were) they have their own unique and creative ideas and ideals.
BTW I didn't suggest for one moment that I wished you to repress artists and art, good lord no that's the last thing I would want. I was merely pointing out that from your standpoint as leader it would be to the benefit of the state to do so because you would be losing a great deal of control were you to allow freedom of creativity. Most dictatorships allow 'freedom of creativity within the confines of the ideals of the state.' You need 'state approved arts.'
Oh, I'm not playing devils advocate at all today am I

What do you mean we can't be categorized? Of course we can!
1. Those that support Pim's New World Order.
2. The deceased.

if evil goverments only treat each member of society as a number what does that make the IRS? or socal security?
I think i will leave the arts allone.
do you think the artist approved of Gordon Brown MP, or Margaret Thatcher?
