I have looked at the nails, and If it were me would not use them. I would just have my nails done very simple and classic.
understatement is the key, you do not wish people to remember your fingernail's but your wedding.

Yeah, I was afraid that they would be a little over the top, but darn are they ever hot. And those are very beautiful invitations, but I'm just not sure if they have enough of a floral theme for our wedding. Gorgeous though, especially the silver cornered one. The flowers we're using are going to be peonies and roses in shades of blush & cream, and lots of 'em! I LOVE flowers!

My vote on the nails would also be a no. At your wedding I don't think you want something on your hand that competes with your ring for attention.

I vote for eloping.

You two could always elope. Take the enormous amounts of money you would've spent on a wedding and have a kick butt Honeymoon instead.

Q! Get out of the Wedding Topic!

We had a very small wedding, but a couple days before we seriously considered eloping. We decided it wouldn't be fair to the families and went through with it. My best advice (and advice that had been given to us) would be to not plan a big honeymoon for at least a day and maybe a few weeks later. You are so exhausted and excited with all of the wedding preparation and festivity, that it takes away from the honeymoon. We stayed overnight in a nearby city and took a fairly short honeymoon trip, then the next year (also financially recovered from wedding expenses) we went to Europe.

Don't forget to have a counter weight the the flower's with some thing I would suggest say black candles.
If I may get all esoteric the flowers would be Yang and the candles Yin.
or the flowers represent you and the candles talon.
now I'm sure that he would rather be represented by black killer robots with huge guns and lasers or black magic swords but you don't have to tell him that he is the candle, just tell him that candles look nice.

another nice effect is to have dry ice in the flower arrangements. gives the place a sort of magic feel.

Yay! Such nice suggestions from everybody. ^_^ You guys are making me think of some nice things that I never would have thought about before. And yeah, Talon would like to be represented by Voltron, or Fox from Super Smash Bros., but he'll have to settle for the little dove cake topper I've chosen and some candles stuck into our centerpieces as you suggested, WhoMe (thanks bunches btw! *hugs*).

Cake topper here -----> http://www.weddingmountain.com/p-6658-2 ... opper.aspx

I was gonna dress 'em up a little maybe with a sky blue ribbon around the necks, and we were going to have pink flowers on the cake on alternating sides and levels (it will be a 5 tier round ivory butter cream colored affair).

you are welcome I'm having a really good time helping you. Are going to film the wedding and post it hear for us ?
killer robots have no place at weddings (no matter what the boys would like) unless they are guests.

Yeah, we are going to put it up on here for any who would like to see. Talon said he wanted to try to have a live feed on the day of the wedding so it's kind of like you guys are there with us. ^_^ But if we can't do that, then yeah, we're definitely going to post it here after it's been filmed.

Oh, and here's the front-runner for my bridesmaids' gown. It comes in the colors(called 'Capri' and 'Candy Pink' on the DB site) and the sizes I need.

Okay, I am sorry I have been gone so long...yet again... However!

Mary is a very beautiful dress... Like omg...

No on the nails... People will be looking at your nails instead of the dress or the ring....

The colors for the bridal dresses are beautiful... Are you going with both are wanting an opinion of one or the other?

Oh, and congrats!!

*stares at Q* why arent you doing this for me?
Its a Kilt! If I wore something under it THEN it would be a skirt!
