Re: The Wedding Thread
To the video- sounds like my cousin, seriously.
And after some serious thought with a little bit of logic & reasoning involved (and a lot of emotion), I'm thinking about changing my wedding theme & colors.....again. "But Alba, what are you thinking of now?" Hokay.....have any of you guys ever played 'Paper Mario:The Thousand Year Door' for the GameCube? If you have & you made it past the first area on the game then you're probably a little familiar with the next area, a.k.a. Bogley Woods. It's a surreal, ethereal negative colored magical, mystical woods.....of awesomeness. I really liked the black & white color scheme of the foliage (black trees, white leaves, black earth with this cut-out swirly plant design that had a shimmery rainbow color gradation effect going on in the cut-out design, a dusty taupe sky) and thought, "Wow, what a good feeling this place gives me. It'd be awesome for a wedding." And there you go, my new wedding color/style that I'm getting pretty into. Because it probably wouldn't have to be as lavishly decorated as the Victorian theme I originally wanted we could probably save a little cash. Also, I could do most of the decorations I have in mind myself with some spray paint, sticks, fake white hydrangeas, a glue gun, and a couple of shiny things. Oh, and some really pretty damask-floral-y print scrap booking paper I saw at the local craft shop.
Yeah, it's gonna be more complicated than what I just typed of course, but it still may be a little easier than my first theme, and also I love this dress that goes better with my new theme and it's cheaper.

Oh, the dress is just gorgeous!!! I had chantilly lace in my wedding dress.
Wish we lived closer, I could help with the crafts.
Do have anything in mind for jewelry?
Oh and Pim, that song cracked me up!

Yeah, that'd be awesome if lived closer, Ariel. Not just for the crafts & stuff, but 'cuz you're cool too. And as far as jewelry goes I don't have anything particular in mind just yet, all I know is something simple with an earthy-hippie-plant design. Oh, and shiny.
Also, my new song to walk down the aisle to will be 'The Prelude' from the final fantasy series. It just seems fitting.

Re: The Wedding Thread
Well.....I changed my mind again, we're back to the original sky blue-bubble gum pink colors with a kind of Victorian feel to it wedding. Oh, and here's a new link to THE wedding dress for me, final pick. Now, the only problem is losing enough weight in time to make it look alright on me & getting the funds to purchase it. Gorgeous, though.

Thanks guys. ^_^ It seriously does mean a lot to me to have you you guys backing me up on decisions because you all seem like uber-nice folk, and {cheesy cliche time} I feel like I know you in real time.

Re: The Wedding Thread
I like that gown, too, Alba. I hadn't checked this thread before. Congrats on your wedding to Talon! And pim, that burlap sack theme strikes a little close to home to those of us with roots in the great Commonwealth of Kentucky. My ancestors were original settlers in Kentucky in the 1790s.
