Thursday my friend posted this:

Treatment Update: 1/6 of radiation treatments complete - 6 down - 30 to go! :-\

And today she posted this:

Doing a HAPPY DANCE! My hair is FINALLY starting to come back!!!!! I now see HAIR instead SCALP!! Woohoo!! (I looked like I had male pattern baldness before as very little hair had come back...) Thank you, God!!!!

She doesn't know if it's changed color, or will be coming back curly yet. Still too short. I'm hoping for blue, myself. Blue would be cool.

An update today:

Only 14 treatments to go! I'm very tired and not looking forward to this weekend. It's an Air National Guard drill weekend and I just want to get some REST! But I'll hang in there...

She's finished her last treatment. She posted this a short while ago...

I'M DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I told myself I wouldn't cry - but I did... the feeling of RELIEF was just too great! Thank you all, for your support and words of encouragement. ♥ ♥

Even better news. My friend went to the doctor today for tests and to find out how she's doing.

She's cancer-free.
