lightning protection

At what height does a building have to have lightning protection? I've seen lot of information but nothing with a definite height. If anyone has any good guidance or precise height it would be good to know.

I'd say if it is higher than anything else around it that it does need protection. It could still be hit, though, so it is probably a good idea to make sure the electrical system is grounded.
