Squid is awesome looking, LF!

I've had all of my cats my fixed and other than putting on a bit of weight and not crying incessantly in the Spring, I've never really noticed a difference in them. I always hear that it "calms them down," but I've never noticed a significant change.
I'm going to die the way I've lived...poor, screaming, and naked.

Thanks Qray! My iPhone photo library is full of his pics...I've just fallen in love with his little butt!

I have the same results as you. I have 4(all recuses-3 actual strays) cats, and they are all fixed and they have a little belly-but they pounce on each other all the time. The only thing is that they don't do it as much now that they are not kittens anymore. Actually having Squid (now 10mths) in the house has put a spark in the atmosphere and they are all a lot more active.
The bottom line is, I would rather have my cats loose a little spunk than to, scream when in season, spraying, and/or get outside and adding to the millions of homeless or abused animals out there!!!
It's def worth it!

Critter Videos

Post by fanuilh »

Videos of our critters, because I can, and because I haven't posted any in awhile. These were both done today. Note in the first one, near the end, you can see Seymour scampering around. He's pretty much got all his mobility back. He still walks a bit drunkenly but he gets around just fine.

As an added bonus, here's a video of me, taken with my (new) Webcam. It's impressive. Really.

Awwwww, great vids fan!!!! Nice to see you as well as the kids. :D

I'm really enjoying my crested gecko pair. They are such docile little creatures. I like the way their fingers and toes curl up. LOL  We bend ours down and theirs curl upward. Weird when you first see it. Persian kitty is still loveable and sweet and turtle is getting big.

Went to a cat show recently and had a ball. Man, the breeds were just gorgeous!!!!!!!!

Tucker

We've gotten quite a bit of snow in the past 24 hours (most of it's already melted). But here's a picture of Tucker in the snow, this morning.

He's one of those critters that just showed up one day, a few years ago just before Christmas. And he's a sweetie. I can't imagine why his owners never answered the ad we put in the paper or came looking for him. He was already neutered and in great condition. Strange.

But we're glad he came to our house.

Sam and Olivia, our newest "arrivals."

[BBvideo 425,344][/BBvideo]

Sam is the orange tabby, and he's a real cuddle-bug. He loves being held. Both of them were outside, we caught them and had them neutered and given their shots. Their behavior made it clear they weren't feral. They used to belong to somebody, and then got -- I don't know, thrown away, abandoned. They're home now.
