I've been on an '80s/early '90s electronic kick recently. Got Depressed Mood's Violated album on, listening to Halo (which is likely my favourite song of theirs, both due to the message, the sound texture and the feel of it).

There are so many bands that I love and have no idea who they are or get them mixed up with other bands. Frustrating.

One of my Favorite bands, with my favorite guitarist of all time. And this is my favorite song of all time:

There were times when I questioned my reasons
Thought I wouldn't last
Seemed the hand of God held my head
Underwater
Somehow I fought back

It's still not over yet
No. It won't let me quit

Found myself more than just once
Praying down on my knees
My search for answers only led to more
questions
Sometimes for faith you've got to bleed

By now I've bled my share
Now it's my turn to redeem

When it comes my way, I won't be scared
I've been waiting all my life
Pain has prepared me for the moment of
Truth
And the true test is time

Give all you have because you believe
Sell your mortal soul
And if you're not a predator then OH- You
Better pray
Bet it all now or fold

But there's still a danger there
Don't become one of them

When it comes my way. I won't be scared
I've been waiting all my life
Pain has prepared me for the moment of
Truth
And the true test is time

***In my opinion, the best guitar solo ever in the history of music***

For all I've done - Some good and some bad
Don't hang me just yet
Judge me not on one thing I've done
See my whole life instead

When it comes my way. I won't be scared
I've been waiting all my life
Pain has prepared me for the moment of
Truth
And the true test is time

"They are a curious thing, these emotions. How they fly in the face of logic, how they overrule the most basic instincts. Because, in the measure of time, in the measure of humanity, we sense those self-indulgent instincts to be a weakness, we sense that the needs of the community must outweight the desires of the one. Only when we admit to our failures and recognize our weaknesses can we rise above them. Together." -Drizzt Do'Urden

I think AC/DC is good, but I don't think that they are as good as most people make them out to be. I am sorry if this next remark offends anyone, but Angus Young definitely isn't one of the best guitarist of all time.

It looks as though last night at work my backpack ('man-purse') with my cdp and about 25 cds in it, as well as 5 books (one I was borrowing from a guy at work) some new leather fingerless black gloves and some other stuff that will be tough to replace was stolen. I am not pleased. Not. At. All.

So the Christmas Season is fast approaching (or is it here?)

I love Trans-Syberian Orchestra's CD "Christmas Eve and Other Stories" and will wear it out this time of year. Also: Silent Night, Little Drummer Boy, Cheech & Chong's "Santa Claus And His Old Lady," and Bob Rivers' "I Am Santa Claus."

What are some of your favorite songs of this time of year?
