Hearing his name Ranryu turns his head just as a crossbow bolt takes a few hairs as it passes by unhindered.

"Ignore what? Hey what are you doing with that grenade?"

Snatching the grenade out of the air then turning over once for a quick inspection.

"You even removed the pin for me; what insight, I tell ya. So, let me guess, it is a dud, huh?"

Tossing the grenade over his shoulder in a dismissive manner as he continues to watch Talon warily. In the back ground one can see the grenade bounce of the bar and land on one of the far shelves; were it began to roll down an unseen incline until it lazily fell through the small slot in front of Qray just to land at his feet.

A tale indeed. Life has been busy. From spending four months in Africa to entertaining foreign dignitaries here in my own home, spare time has been sparse. My time spent writing diminished to a mere trickle. Such a crime that cannot be overlooked, so I am here, plugging into a community of like minds, seeking to make amends for my negligence.

Perhaps I'll wander over to the critique section and look into tearing some future literary masterpiece apart.

I've always wondered why it's called a pineapple. It doesn't grow on a pine tree and it tastes nothing like an apple.
